The Xetra® T7 trading system provides the technological platform for electronic trading on Wiener Börse. Xetra® T7 enables efficient, transparent, and high-performance processing of securities transactions. Its modern architecture ensures a high execution speed, stable market processes, and flexible options for trading participants.
Since 5 November 1999, Wiener Börse has been using Xetra® (Exchange Electronic Trading), a fully electronic trading system for cash market trading (stocks, bonds, and structured products). As of 31 July 2017, a significant portion of the cash market (stocks and ETFs) was migrated to the modern Xetra® T7 system architecture; since 28 January 2019, all bonds, certificates, and warrants have also been tradable on Xetra® T7.
