In the year 2021, the total trading volume at the Vienna Stock Exchange amounted to EUR 73.40 billion. This is a significant rise of 6.5% compared to the already strong level of the previous year 2020 (Jan-Dec 2020: EUR 68.89 billion).
In December 2021, the leading trading platform for Austrian shares recorded an equity turnover of EUR 5.71 billion. Compared to the previous year, this represents a gain of 3.6% (December 2020: EUR 5.51 billion).
