The turnover statistics for trading in domestic and international equities continued to show an upward trend last month. In November 2021, the Vienna Stock Exchange recorded equity trading volumes of EUR 7.65 billion. With around EUR 1 billion more turnover compared to November 2020 (EUR 6.68 billion), this represents a significant increase of 14.4%.
Year-to-date equity turnover amounted to EUR 67.69 billion and is thus again surpassing the strong level of the previous year (Jan-Nov 2020: EUR 63.38 billion) with a plus of 6.8%.
