The Vienna Stock Exchange recorded an equity trading volume of EUR 4.49 billion in July 2022. The most actively traded Austrian stocks were OMV AG with EUR 700 million, ahead of Erste Group Bank AG with EUR 675 million and Verbund AG with EUR 633 million. Year-to-date, the equity turnover amounted to EUR 47.73 billion. This is an increase of 7.3% over the same period last year (Jan-Jul 2021: EUR 44.49 billion).
