Equity turnover is rising: In the month of October, the Vienna Stock Exchange recorded a turnover of EUR 6.63 billion. This is an increase of 14.8% compared to the previous year (October 2017: EUR 5.78 billion).
In a year-on-year comparison, the leading trading platform for Austrian stocks reports volumes up by 5.4%. Since the beginning of 2018 (including October), the Vienna Stock Exchange has achieved a total equity trading volume of EUR 58.75 billion (Jan-Oct 2017: EUR 55.72 billion).
