The past seven months have shown that the Vienna Stock Exchange recorded a total equity trading volume of EUR 40.22 bn EUR (Jan-Jul 2017), 20.8% more than the previous year (Jan-Jul 2016: EUR 33.31 bn EUR). The positive trend seen in the first half year persists into July: Turnover in July was up to 4.5 bn EUR, a plus of 8.9% compared to July the previous year (July 2016: 4.13 bn EUR).
