During the ATX committee’s semiannual meetings (March and September), decisions regarding additions and removals are made based on the monthly watch list using the 25/25 rule. This means that companies in the prime market with a revenue rank of ≤ 25 and a free float market capitalization rank of ≤ 25 are eligible for inclusion in the index. If a company does not meet these criteria, it may be removed from the index. The general objective is for the ATX to comprise 20 components.
