Vienna Stock Exchange expands global market: More than 1,000 international stocks available for the first time

(Vienna) Starting today, 45 additional stocks from the Nasdaq 100 and S&P 500 indices are available for trading on the Vienna Stock Exchange's global market. Among the new additions are well-known companies such as Accenture, DoorDash, KKR, Robinhood, Strategy (formerly MicroStrategy), SanDisk and Neutron Holdings, the operator of the e-scooter brand Lime. With this expansion, the international segment now offers more than 1,000 securities from 29 countries for the first time.

“The demand for international investment opportunities is steadily increasing. By expanding our global market, we are providing Austrian investors with access to some of the world’s most innovative and economically significant companies. This allows those looking to build wealth over the long-term to structure their portfolios even more strategically across countries, sectors and business models,” said Manuel Kurz, Deputy Head of Member Sales & Business Development at Vienna Stock Exchange.

The global market enables investors to trade international equities through their existing brokerage channels without the need to access foreign trading venues. As a result, no foreign exchange trading fees apply, while trading and settlement are conducted in euros. Acting as market maker, Lang & Schwarz ensures competitive pricing and provides the liquidity required to support active trading.
