(Vienna) Following the application of the index rules, the composition of the ATX Global Players index will be adjusted. Effective Monday, 19 September 2022, PIERER Mobility AG will be included and AGRANA Beteiligungs-AG will be removed from the index. This results from the review of the company's reports. The index rules stipulate that more than 20% of revenues must be generated outside Europe. Furthermore, the new composition of the ATX five (inclusion of Andritz, deletion of voestalpine) as well as the new free float factors will enter into force next Monday.
The ATX Global Players consists of Austrian prime market companies that generate more than 20% of their revenues on the world market. Currently there are 15 index members. The sectors most strongly represented are production technology & machinery (26%), mining & metals (21%), chemicals (12%), hardware & equipment (13%) and oil & gas (8%). The maximum index weighting of one constituent is adjusted quarterly to 20%. The index composition is reviewed once a year in September. The index is designed as an investable benchmark.
