Alexandra Wittmann and Guido Jestädt join Wiener Börse AG's supervisory board

(Vienna) At today's Annual General Meeting, two new members were elected to the Supervisory Board of Wiener Börse AG: Alexandra Wittmann and Guido Jestädt. Wittmann, who holds a degree in business administration, has served as CFO of EVN AG since 1 September 2024. She takes over the mandate from EVN Executive Board Director Stefan Szyszkowitz. Jestädt, a legal expert, has served on the BAWAG Group AG Managing Board as Chief Administrative Officer since 2021 and succeeds Egbert Fleischer, former Chairman of the Supervisory Board of BAWAG Group AG. Both predecessors resigned their mandates. Szyszkowitz served on the Supervisory Board of Wiener Börse AG for over ten years, and Fleischer since 2017.

"With Alexandra Wittmann and Guido Jestädt, we welcome proven experts to the Supervisory Board of Wiener Börse AG. At the same time, we would like to thank Stefan Szyszkowitz and Egbert Fleischer, who have supported the transformation of Wiener Börse AG and contributed significantly to the development of the Austrian capital market in their many years as Supervisory Board members," says Heimo Scheuch, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Wiener Börse AG.

The remainder of the Supervisory Board remains unchanged. The Supervisory Board consists of twelve shareholder representatives and four employees of Wiener Börse delegated by the Works Council. Heimo Scheuch (Wienerberger AG) and Angelika Sommer-Hemetsberger (OeKB) will continue to serve as Chairman and Deputy Chairwoman of the Supervisory Board respectively.
