Some ten years ago, the Vienna Stock Exchange started building its wide-ranging network of cooperation exchanges in the regions of CEE and CIS (Commonwealth of Independent States).

Apart from cooperating closely with the neighboring stock exchange of Prague within the holding company, CEESEG AG, the Vienna Stock Exchange also collaborates with many other exchanges – mainly in the CEE region – in the areas of IT services (via a shared trading system), index development, data vending and many other capital market projects.

Cooperation agreements in the CEE and CIS region exist with the exchanges of Banja Luka, Belgrade, Bucharest, Budapest, Istanbul, Ljubljana, Podgorica, Sarajevo, Skopje, Sofia, and Zagreb; in Kiev with the State Agency, the National Depositary and the exchange PFTS.

Additionally, the Vienna Stock Exchange has cooperation agreements with the non-European stock exchanges Almaty, Dubai, Shanghai, and Tokyo.
