On the occasion of International Women's Day, Angelika Sommer-Hemetsberger (Vienna Stock Exchange/OeKB) and Wiebke Schlömer (IFC) traditionally opened the trading day by ringing the stock exchange bell on 9 March 2020.

With the initiative "Ring the Bell for Gender Equality", the Vienna Stock Exchange, together with 75 exchanges on all continents, is committed to promoting diversity and equal opportunities.
