(Vienna/Hamburg) Wiener Börse AG has acquired an 80% majority stake in North Data GmbH, expanding its data and information business beyond the exchange. The Hamburg-based company has established itself as a leading search engine for European company data, aggregating and consolidating information on 100 million private companies in 26 European countries from more than 160 public sources, including registers and EU databases. With this acquisition, Wiener Börse strengthens its position as a modern infrastructure and data provider and further diversifies its services along its core business areas.
