Vienna Stock Exchange: Athos Immobilien AG switches to mid market

(Vienna) Trading commenced on March 23, 2015 in the stocks of Athos Immobilien AG on the mid market of the Vienna Stock Exchange, which is the growth segment for small and medium-sized companies. By taking this step, Athos Immobilien AG has committed itself to the tighter transparency criteria of the mid market. ICF BANK AG has assumed the function of market maker and capital market coach for the company. Previously, the company’s stock had been traded in the segment “other securities”. The regional focus of the Austrian real estate investor, developer and builder is in Upper Austria according to the company. Apart from Athos Immobilien AG, the mid market currently lists ten further companies.


Mid market – growth segment for small and medium-sized companies at the Vienna SE

The mid market opens up the possibility for small and medium-sized companies to raise equity on the capital market. Companies listed on the mid market agree to comply with tighter transparency, quality and disclosure requirements. It is possible to list stocks on the regulated markets as well as to include these in trading on the Third Market of the Vienna Stock Exchange. A key feature of this segment is the support companies receive from capital market coaches. Capital market coaches assist the companies during the admission phase and after the start of listing for a period of one year. The mid market offers two types of trading procedures: “continuous trading” and “single intraday auction”.
