The Vienna Stock Exchange will be open on tomorrow's public holiday (Immaculate Conception). The entire infrastructure – from trading to settlement – will be available. This is the last Austrian holiday on which the Vienna Stock Exchange opens its doors for trading in 2021. This year, trading has been possible on a total of five Austrian public holidays.
The trading calendar for 2022 has already been set. The Vienna Stock Exchange will offer six selected Austrian public holidays as additional trading days.

With around 84%, a large part of the trading volume of the Vienna Stock Exchange is generated by international trading participants. It is predominantly these members who also seize the opportunity to trade on the additional trading days. Turnover on Austrian public holidays averages about three quarters of a regular trading day.
