In July, the trend from the first half year continued: Turnover from trading in domestic and foreign shares by our members maintained a high level. The Vienna Stock Exchange recorded equity trading volumes of EUR 5.59 billion in July 2021. Compared to the previous year, this represents a substantial increase of 26.0% (July 2020: EUR 4.44 billion).
Year-to-date equity turnover amounted to EUR 44.49 billion and is thus at the high level of the previous year with an increase of 2% (Jan-Jul 2021: EUR 43.62 billion).
