At the fourth Vienna Summit at the Vienna Stock Exchange, European small and mid-sized stock exchanges gathered to discuss current developments. The C-level event began with a joint lunch and a keynote address by Vienna Stock Exchange CEO Christoph Boschan. The agenda then centred on an update by Director General of FESE Rosa Armesto Plaja, a focus on the importance of national stock exchanges by Christian Helmenstein, Chief Economist, Federation of Austrian Industries and Board Member, Economica Institute, and an expert presentation on the CEE growth region by Henning Eßkuchen, Head of CEE Equity Research at Erste Group Bank. Discussions on the challenges facing the European capital market rounded off the day.
