The Management Board of the exchange operating company, Wiener Börse AG, passed the resolution on 17 October 2011 to admit Newedge UK Financial Limited - London (U.K.) effective 1 November 2011 as a member of the securities exchange within the framework of the right of establishment and freedom to provide services.
The member is authorized to trade on the derivatives market in options and (financial) futures contracts through the EUREX® electronic trading system and will take part in the clearing and settlement system as a direct clearing member (general clearing member through a clearing agent) for trading on the cash market, and as an direct clearing member (general clearing member) for trades concluded in derivatives trading.
Membership in the Vienna Stock Exchange in its function as a securities exchange also gives the member the right to take part in trading on the Third Market (MTF) operated by the exchange operating company, Wiener Börse AG.
