In August 2019, equity turnover shows a positive trend: the Vienna Stock Exchange recorded a trading volume of EUR 5.19 billion. This is an increase of 8.9% compared to the previous year (August 2018: EUR 4.76 billion). The five most actively traded stocks last month were Erste Group Bank AG, voestalpine AG, OMV AG, Andritz AG and Raiffeisen Bank International AG.
