The Vienna Stock Exchange recorded equity trading volumes of EUR 5.32 billion in April 2022. The most actively traded Austrian stocks were Erste Group Bank AG with EUR 818 million, ahead of OMV AG with EUR 723 million and Verbund AG with EUR 701 million. Year-to-date the equity turnover amounted to EUR 29.84 billion. This is a gain of 11.6% over the same period last year (Jan-Apr 2021: EUR 26.74 billion).
