The management of the exchange operating company, Wiener Börse AG, took the decision on 23 August 2010, to admit Societate de Servicii de Investitii Financiare BROKER S.A., Cluj-Napoca (Romania) as a member to the Vienna Stock Exchange in its function as a securities exchange under the concept of the free movement of services - effective as of 1 September 2010 .
The member Societate de Servicii de Investitii Financiare BROKER S.A. is authorized to take part in securities trading on the cash market through the electronic trading system Xetra® and to participate as a direct clearing member in the clearing system for trades concluded in cash market trading.
Membership in the Vienna Stock Exchange as a securities exchange authorizes the member to take part in trading on the Third Market as an MTF that is operated by the exchange operating company, Wiener Börse AG.
