From 2 May 2019, the Vienna Stock Exchange will extend the duration of the closing auction for stocks of the Austrian leading index ATX from three minutes to five minutes. Instead of the current 17:33 hours, closing prices in ATX stocks will be available from 17:35 hours. With this measure the Vienna Stock Exchange is increasing its system availability and responding to the increased importance of the closing auction.
Reminder: There will be no trading on the Vienna Stock Exchange on tomorrow's national holiday, 1 May 2019. On 30 May 2019 (Ascension Day), trading on the Vienna Stock Exchange will be possible for the first time on an Austrian public holiday.
