Management Board of Mayr-Melnhof Karton AG reappointed

In yesterday's meeting of the Supervisory Board of Mayr-Melnhof Karton AG
Mr. Franz Rappold, Mr. Andreas Blaschke, and Mr. Oliver Schumy have been
unanimously reappointed members of the Management Board for a further
period of five years. The new term will start on May 15, 2010 and will end
on May 14, 2015. The mandate of the Chairman of the Management Board, Mr.
Wilhelm Hörmanseder, was already prolonged last year until December 31,
2014.

Mr. Franz Rappold (57 years of age), 27 years with Mayr-Melnhof and since
2002 member of the Management Board, will continue to be responsible for
the Cartonboard Division's (MM Karton) sales and marketing activities.

Mr. Andreas Blaschke (48 years of age), 18 years with Mayr-Melnhof and
member of the Management Board also since 2002 will continue his mandate as
board member for the Packaging Division's (MM Packaging) sales and
marketing activities.

Mr. Oliver Schumy (39 years of age) 12 years with Mayr-Melnhof and since
2008 Chief Financial Officer was prolonged in his function.
