Every euro invested into a listed company turns into EUR 2.4 for the national economy.

The Institute of Industrial Science (IWI) published a study entitled "The economic importance of the 75 listed domestic companies"*. This ascertained the factors of economic influence that can be traced back to Austria's domestic listed companies. The study confirmed that the leverage effects for the national economy are considerable, with one euro of value added from listed companies generating a sum of EUR 2.31 in value added for the Austrian economy.
