> Erste Group expects stock markets to stabilize
- The investment experts at Erste Group expect prices to stabilize again on international stock markets for the first time since 4Q 2007. The crisis is not yet over though was the warning sent out by Chief Analyst Friedrich Mostböck at the presentation of the latest financial market forecasts for 2Q 2009. The willingness to invest in stocks has increased again. Factors that speak against stock investments are the still prevailing global crisis of confidence and the real economy that is ailing under the crisis. (APA, 1 April 2009)

However, "it is not the lowest limit" said ECB President Jean-Claude Trichet: "I do not exclude that we could in a very measured way go down from the present level."
